2021 Syrah Grenache Mourvèdre Six Pack

Our Heathcote Red, sourced from top and tail vineyards of the Shelmerdine family in the Heathcote region of Victoria is great with hearty flavours.

Dark berries, mulberry and black cherry with all spice, nutmeg and green pepper. Plenty of perfume and fragrance on the nose. The palate is medium weight and shows a lighter shade of fruit than the nose. Fine integrated tannins carry the fruit to a pleasing, long savoury finish.

An excellent inky purple-black hue; spicy with wafts of jamon infusing the dark fruit, dried herbs and cherry essence, too. The palate has some depth with ripe tannins and cleansing acidity. Not overly complex – you’d be happy to take this to a mate’s barbecue.
